V Doan Thump

Inspired by a 500 series VCA compressor built around 8 selectable compression ratios from clean 2:1 all the way to brickwall 20:1, a soft Opto-style release mode, and an PeakThru attack-slope function for keeping transient snap under compression.

Features :

Peakthru — slows the initial attack onset to preserve transient content

G-Auto - combines selected release value with a slower secondary release

Soft-clip saturation stage for harmonic coloration

Specs :

Ratios : 2:1 to 20:1, 8-position switch

Attack : 200µs – 40ms

Release : 50ms – 500ms, plus Opto mode

Detector HPF : variable up to 250hz; mix knob for parallel compression

4 sample rates included (44.1kHz → 96kHz)
